Pet Talk App UX/UI Design

UX/UI Design

Pet Talk is a social media app concept designed for pet owners who want a dedicated space to share photos, connect with other pet lovers, and find trusted services like sitters, dog walkers, and local vets. The goal was to build a community focused platform that blends fun social features with practical, everyday pet care support.

I designed the entire Pet Talk app in Figma, starting from the research phase through final UI screens. This included the concept, user research, wireframes, visual design, iconography, and overall app flow.

Pet owners often spread their online activity across multiple platforms. They post photos on social media, search separately for pet services, and rely on random forums for advice. The challenge was to bring all of that into one place while keeping the experience fun and community driven. Since the app was built for Millennials, it needed to feel clean, modern, and easy to navigate.

Secondary Research
Studied Millennial pet ownership trends, community behaviors, and what existing apps offer or fail to offer

Concept and Feature Prioritization
Outlined core features including photo sharing, community discussions, service discovery, and messaging

Wireframing
Mapped out app navigation, user flows, and core screens to keep everything intuitive

Visual Design
Created a clean and friendly UI using warm colors, simple typography, and a photo forward layout to highlight the community vibe

Prototyping
Built an interactive Figma prototype to demonstrate flows like posting photos, browsing sitters, and joining conversations

Interaction Design in Figma

The final concept brings together a full pet centered ecosystem. It gives users a fun place to share pet content while making it easier to find trustworthy services and connect with others who understand their day to day pet experiences. The design feels modern and community oriented, which aligns well with Millennial pet owner expectations.
